We all know her as one of Charlie's Angels — but Drew Barrymore's had one hell of a life.
She comes from Hollywood royalty, one of the truly great acting families. But in many ways, Drew was an orphan - a wild child, raised by the crews on movie sets.
By the age of seven she was famous, the star of ET. At 12, she was abusing all kinds of drugs - booze, marijuana and cocaine, for starters.
And by the time she was 15, she was washed up and on her own.
She's 34 now and a huge success all over again - as an actor, producer and director.
So how did she do it? Anderson Cooper went in search of some answers.
